Who the range is for
The site is built for buyers at institutions, not for single home users. That means buying teams at schools, colleges and universities, medical colleges, and TVET and polytechnic institutes. It also means public tender officers, such as those at a Ministry of Education, and teams running projects paid for by a development bank.
Buyers like these rarely need just one item. A typical request covers a whole lab, or a list of labs. Each has its own counts and specs. As a lab equipment manufacturer and exporter, we set up our process for that kind of order.
How quoting works
We do not publish prices. Every price is quoted on request. It depends on the quantity, the exact spec and where the goods must go. A quote that leaves out freight and packing for your country would not help you much.
To make a quote fast and accurate, send us:
- The item list, with our catalog name or your own spec for each line.
- The quantity for each item.
- The delivery country and, if known, the port or city.
- Your tender reference and closing date, if the order is part of a tender.
You can add items to a Quote List while you browse and send one combined request, or write to us through the contact and quote request page.
Tender documentation support
Public lab purchases often run through tenders. A tender may be run by the government, a Ministry of Education, or a project paid for by a development bank. We help with the papers these tenders need:
- Technical specification sheets for each item.
- Itemised quotations that follow the tender's bill of quantities.
- Supporting bid paperwork for the items quoted.
The lab tenders page explains this in more detail. We also publish 93 country tender guides. Each one sets out how public buying works in that country.
Export regions and shipping
We export from India, and we publish tender guides for countries in Africa, Latin America, South East Asia and Eastern Europe. Orders go by sea or air freight, with the export papers the shipment needs. Fragile items, such as glassware, are packed for a long trip.
For region-specific notes, see our pages for lab equipment exports to Africa, Latin America, South East Asia and Eastern Europe.
What we will and will not tell you
We aim to be plain about what we can do. We can send spec sheets for the items you pick. We do not quote a price before we know the quantity and the place of delivery. If an item you need is not in the catalog, ask before you build it into a spec.
If you are writing a specification and want buyer guidance first, our buyer guides for lab equipment cover glassware, microscopes, engineering labs and more.
